Donation provides supplies for work-at-home students

Oxnard, CA Aug. 19, 2020 — Lifelong Oxnard resident, salesperson, and entrepreneur, Jeff Wagner donated a box of supplies to Harrington Elementary in support of his neighborhood school.

Several years ago while looking for new members of his Cub Scouts pack, Wagner spoke with Harrington Principal Rosaura Castellanos who offered to distribute flyers to her students. Castellanos added that her school features many students from lower income families and asked to keep her school in mind for future Scouting projects.

No longer involved with Scouts, Wagner pondered other ways to help and asked the school if they could use some supplies for the start of the year. Principal Castellanos and staff were grateful for the offer and said they would gladly accept a donation.

Not the most wealthy of Oxnard citizens, Wagner searched coupon codes, gift card points, and other discounts to order roughly $100 worth of items from Walmart.com. These included backpacks, markers, crayons, composition books, glue sticks, and scissors. When the delivery arrived, he brought everything to the school office with a smile hidden behind his face mask.

With over two decades of sales experience, Wagner has turned his attention to other endeavors. Recently he teamed up with local auto broker Phillip Thackoorie of Auto Locator, Inc. to promote that business and started his own sales lead generating endeavor PhoneHawks.com. He hopes his clients appreciate what he is trying to achieve in the community and will help him continue his charitable efforts.

PhoneHawks.com is a freelance telemarketing and lead generation service that seeks to help professionals leverage their time while giving their clients the human touch they deserve.
